Dr.
Richard Crout completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and
Masters of Science in Orthodontics at West Virginia University.
He was nominated president elect of the West Virginia Association
of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 2001 and served as
president of the state orthodontic society for 2002–2003.
Dr. Crout has numerous publications and enjoys spending time as
an adjunct faculty member at West Virginia University School of
Orthodontics. Dr. Crout was awarded the prestigious recognition
of being listed in the 2003–2004 "Guide to America's
Top Dentists."
Dr.
Crout maintains one of the most progressive offices in West Virginia.
His office boasts state-of- the-art digital imagery which reduces
radiation exposure to patients and eliminates chemical pollutants
from x-ray developers. The office is totally computerized for paperless
office management which serves a dual function of preserving our
environment while delivering ultra modern efficiency. Dr. Crout
uses plasma arc curing lights, individually packaged brackets and
leading edge arch wire technology that give correct biological forces
on individual teeth. He is also a VIP Invisalign® certified
provider for those of you looking for alternatives to braces. Dr.
Crout strives through continuing education to search for new, innovative
orthodontic developments to ensure his patients are always receiving
the most advanced orthodontic treatment available.
Out
of the office Dr. Crout enjoys spending time with wife Carmen and
their four children, Leigha, Mara, Richard and Michael. (You may
see them from time-to-time raiding the treasure box). His hobbies
include golfing, fishing, hiking, and playing tennis. Dr. Crout
and his family reside in Putnam County. They take great pride helping
support their community by offering scholarships, rewarding community
service and helping with charitable fundraising efforts.
